Happy Birthday Wordage Stamps

Good Morning

Happy New Year to everyone.  Not an awful lot of crafting went on over the Christmas/New Year period.  Now that its all over I hope to spend more time in my craft room.  So, its a new year and a new Monday morning blog.  A nice little clean and simple card for today.  This was made using the "Happy Birthday" wordage stamp from Colourific, and also some of the new border stamps.

A6 Aztec Borders Stamps
A6 Happy Birthday Stamps
6 x 6 Black Card Blank
5.75 x 5.75 White Stamping Card
Gold Embossing Powder
Gold Sparkle Pen
Black Gems
Versamark Ink Pad
Black Versafine Ink Pad

  • Stamped Aztec Border around the edge of 5.75 x 5.75 Stamping card and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.
  • Stamped "Happy Birthday" diagonally across the centre of the card and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.  Coloured the centre of letters with gold sparkle pen.
  • Stamped the "Day" part of the stamp twice onto black scrap card and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.  Fussy cut the letters to make the word "DAD" and again coloured with Gold Sparkle pen.  Added this to the card with foam pads.
  • Stamped "Just to say..." above the Happy Birthday with black versafine ink pad and embossed with clear embossing powder
  • Added black gems to each corner to finish off.
Thank you for looking.

70 Celebrate 70

Good Morning Everyone
I made this little card using some die cuts and some flowers.  I hope you like it.

  • I designed and cut the card using my Brother Scan and Cut.
  • Assembled the basic card and layers.
  • Used a die cut to make the fancy border on the white mat then put it through an embossing folder to add some interest.
  • Die cut  various sizes of fancy circles and layered them together onto the card base with foam pads
  • Die cut the bottle and glass in silver and pink card and paper pieced together.  Added to card with glue gel.
  • Used some flowers from my stash and some die cut foliage around the edge of the circle.
  • Weaved some thin ribbon through the bottom edge and finished off with a bow
